Aesthetic Treatments

Over the years and with our busy and often stressful lives, nature takes its toll and facial expression lines appear for both men and women.

Here at Rossendale Dental Health Centre, we offer a range of aesthetic treatments that can slow the rate of this happening and give you a fresher more youthful look, which can have such a positive impact on your outlook and life.

These procedures can help soften expression lines, define facial contours and make your skin feel great. They are quick and easy to undertake and the results can have the effect of turning back the years.

You will have a consultation with a highly qualified practitioner before treatment is undertaken, where all aspects of the procedures will be fully explained, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Call today and book a free consultation.

Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is a chemical that is naturally found in the body, which attracts and binds water to the skin. It can hold 100 - 1000 times its weight in water - this helps promote the “plumping effect” and aids in giving a smooth volumised result.

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are a clear, sterile gel in a syringe for injection into the skin providing instant correction. It is used to:

  • Correct or enhance facial contours: cheeks, temples, jawline, nose, chin.
  • Define, correct or enhance lips.
  • Soften and correct facial wrinkles or folds.
  • Correct hollows under the eyes (tear troughs).
  • Improve the tone, texture and hydration of the skin.

Procedure time: approximately 45-60 minutes to complete.

Downtime: 1-2 days swelling following procedure, minimal downtime required.

Results: can last 6 to 9 months.

Chemical peels can be used on all skin tones, as they are gentle enough to keep any pigmentation complications to a minimum.

Procedure time: approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.

Downtime: 2-3 days swelling following procedure, minimal downtime required.

Results: can last 4 to 6 weeks.

Supporting the NHS

To aid in halting the spread of Covid-19, there have been different restrictions placed in differing location across the nation and some dental practices have been closed. Our practice has remained open throughout this crisis and we have been asked by the NHS to help in giving access to emergency dental care for patients across Lancashire.

We are however open for other regular NHS and private dental treatments for our patients. If you would like an appointment, please email [email protected] or call us on 01706 836130.

Protecting our patients

Our top priority is patient safety and your wellbeing. If you require an appointment at our practice, you may find that there have been some changes in how you access the practice, the PPE used and appointments for some treatments may take a little longer.

Alternatively, you can wait for us to contact you via email or text for your usual recall appointment. Please be reassured that although some of these routine annual or 6 monthly appointments may be delayed due the Covid crisis, you will be contacted moving forward.

Urgent treatment

If you require an urgent appointment, we have daily emergency slots, and you would normally be seen the same day.
