Over 25 years NHS experience having worked in various leading Maxillofacial units around the UK, including higher surgical training at the renowned Royal London Hospital. Completed mini residency program in advance chronic orofacial pain Management, at the University of Kentucky, United States in 2014.

Academic experience- Regularly lecture, many publications and presentations in national and international journals and conferences.

Postgraduate trainer / Educational Supervisor for The North West England Deanery for Dental Foundation Trainees and Senior OMFS trainees. Other responsibilities include MFDSRCS Part II Examiner for RCSEdin, Tutor for Primary Care Oral Surgery, RCSEngland, London. Principle Investigator for a North West Research Project. Joint Trust Lead for World Health Organisation (WHO) Checklist and Course Director Basic Oral Surgery and Basic Implant cadaver course.
